I am a doctoral candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of Washington. My research interests primarily lie in Natural Language Processing. I went to Carleton College for my undergraduate degree where I worked with David Musicant and David Liben-Nowell. I am now working with Mausam, Stephen Soderland, and Oren Etzioni on multi-document summarization and information extraction. In 2008, I was honored as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and in 2011, as a Google Anita Borg Scholar. For more information see my CV.
