Welcome!

I am currently a third year Ph.D. student in Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington. My advisor is Dan Suciu and I am also a member of the Database group and the Theory group at UW.

Prior to coming to UW, I received my Diploma from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Greece and also completed a M.Sc. Degree in Logic, Algorithms and Computation (MPLA) at the University of Athens. During the summer of 2012, I was an intern at the Facebook Entities group.

My research interests lie in the field of databases, with a focus on database theory. I am currently working on the problem of data pricing, which discusses how relational data must be priced when sold online (Data Eco$y$tem). Another direction of my research focuses on studying theoretical parallel models for the MapReduce framework.
