I am a 5th year PhD student at the University of Washington in the Security and Privacy Research Lab, anticipating graduation in June, 2017.

My recent work is focused on the area of web security and privacy, particularly around tracking and targeted advertising. I consider myself to be a security generalist: my previous work includes covert communications systems, static analysis of Android malware, PIN-cracking robots, and biological systems modeling. I am aiming to pursue a career in the public or private sector where I can do meaningful work to improve the security of both systems and users.
