SilkRoute

Description

SilkRoute is a middleware for building XML views from relational datbases. Application writers define a complete XML view of their relational databas, and users query that view in XQuery (we used XML-QL in an initial version of SilkRoute). The XQuery expressions are then translated into SQL and run on the relational engine.
