I am a Distinguished Technologist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Seattle, WA and an Affiliate Professor of the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington.
My research interests focus on user productivity for high-performance computing (HPC), particularly with respect to programming languages, compilers, algorithms, and applications.
Most of my career has focused on the design and implementation of the Chapel programming language for scalable parallel computing from laptops to supercomputers.
A reasonably up-to-date copy of my CV is available online.
