Hobbies:
Outside of academics and personal projects, I like to read. My current favorite book is
The Sound and the Fury by
William Faulkner.
Some other favorites of mine include
The Princess Bride by
William Goldman,
The Secret History by
Donna Tartt, and anything by
Steinbeck or
Dostoevsky.
I also dabble in music and music production. I have been playing piano for 16 years and still enjoy playing when I have time.
My favorite pianists are
Vladimir Horowitz and
Glenn Gould.
I listen to
Chopin's Etudes near-religiously and especially like
op. 10 no. 12 "Revolutionary",
op. 25 no. 11 "Winter Wind", and
op. 25 no. 12 "Ocean".
My favorite musical artists are
Mitski,
The Strokes, and
Beach House.
