Why might we need a new approach?
Just define intelligence, and compute it mathematically
- Digital machines afford universal computation
- Use Bayesian inference or neural networks or...
Can we build intelligent, robust systems this way?
- Answer is probably yes!!!
- But at what efficiency
- And can we scale the approach to enable animal-like intelligence?
