I'm a first-year second-year third-year PhD student at the Paul G. Allen School for Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, where I'm advised by Su-In Lee. My research focuses on developing machine learning methods for analyzing single-cell -omics data.

I graduated in 2018 from Yale University, where I was fortunate to be advised by Yuval Kluger. In between my undergraduate and graduate studies I spent a year at Bridgewater Associates.

• April 2022: Presented an early version of Isolating salient variations of interest in single-cell transcriptomic data with contrastiveVI at the ICLR Machine Learning for Drug Discovery workshop
• March 2022: Presented Moment Matching Deep Contrastive Latent Variable Models at AISTATS 2022
• January 2022: Accepted an internship offer at Genentech Research and Early Development, where I'll be hosted by Aviv Regev
• March 2021: Awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship
• March 2021: Passed quals and got my M.S. degree
