James Ferguson

I am a final year PhD student at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle. I work in natural language processing, and am advised by Hanna Hajishirzi. My current work focuses on using weak supervision for retrieval and question answering. Prior to UW, I received a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley where I did undergraduate research with Greg Durrett and Dan Klein.
