Kendall Stewart

I am a third-year computer science PhD student at the University of Washington. I am advised by Luis Ceze, Georg Seelig, and Karin Strauss. I am a member of the Sampa and MISL research groups.

I do research across the stack on systems with unconventional processors, from FPGAs to DNA. Currently I'm working on developing new computational primitives for MISL's DNA-based digital storage project.

I hold a Master's in CS from Portland State University, and a Bachelor's in Japanese Language and Literature from The University of California, Irvine.
