Technology must inform public policy!
- Encryption/privacy/security (The cat is out of the bag on
strong cryptography!)
- IP/copyright in the digital age (Copying is fundamental to web
technology ... but digital copies are perfect, cheap copies!)
- Freedom of expression (Community standards don't work
when the world in your community ... can technology put control
where it belongs?)
- Responsibility for transgressions (ranging from copyright to libel
to smut)
