I am a graduate student in the PhD program at the Computer Science & Engineering
School at the University of Washington. I work in the
UbiComp lab and am advised by
Professor Shwetak Patel.
My research interests are in HCI, Ubiquitous Computing, and using mobile phones as a means to access services - especially in the developing world.
I am also dedicated to teaching, and tutor undergraduates in foundation Computer Science classes. In the past, I have also taught Math in an after school program at the Elementary School level.
I love to travel and always look for any excuse to go abroad. I spent a gap year between Undergraduate and Graduate school, traveling for 11 months through Central & South America. I also love hiking, trekking, really anything outdoors, reading a good book, and salsa dancing.
