Michael Ernst

Professor
Computer Science & Engineering
University of Washington
On sabbatical at IMDEA Software Institute through January 2015 and at UBA through July 2015

My chief research interest is programmer productivity, including software engineering, programming languages, security, testing, and related issues. Many of my publications and programs are available on-line.

I am actively recruiting strong students who are interested in software engineering, programming languages, security, testing, and related topics. I am interested in new colleagues at all levels: undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs.
