Third person: Chinmay Nirkhe is an Assistant Professor in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington (since August 2024). Previously, he was a research scientist with IBM Research (2022-4), completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley (December 2022), and his B.S. in Mathematics and B.S. in Computer Science at the California Institute of Technology (June 2017). He is the recipient of an NSF CAREER award, a STOC Best Paper Award, and a QIP Plenary talk distinction. His research interests are complexity theory and quantum computation with a broad interest in all areas of theoretical computer science.
