- Sanalbury Hill
- the richest neighborhood in Sarnwog. Lirilith was a runaway from here (8). Presumably a part of Westcrest Hills.
- Sanctuary
- the name of Morachi's guild of thieves and assassins. Located in west Mandratha. An impenetrable fortress hidden away from the Prime by the Wizard Serendeh Sol Nalhyde (2).
- Sandman
- nickname for the Dream Seller (8).

- apparently a race of rapists (6).
- Sapphire
- one of the two most wanted thives in Illishiet (reward was $2500). A companion of Strider and a real lady's man (6). Currently serving time in a maximum security cell in the Dienchau Island Prison (18).
- Sarnwog
- Port Sarnwog (1).
- Scorpion Weeds
- one of the few forms of life able to survive in the Kesh (13).
- Scum
- A smelly half-rate Mandratha Elvin street thief. Friend of Scuzz. Served as an escort for Hyena (21).

- A smelly half-rate Mandratha Elvin street thief. Friend of Scum. Served as an escort for Hyena (21).
- Sehores
- the mountain range of which Mount Palith is a part (20).
- Serendeh
- Serendeh Sol Nalhyde (2).

- the Sanctuary's Wizard extraordinaire who keeps the guild undetectable (2).
- Sethwan Mountains
- where Luse thought he'd wounded a dragon. More likely, it was a Drake (15).
- Shae-Dresgin
- Troll mountain mines in which the Elves discovered, liberated, and allied themselves with the Dwarves during the Dark Wars. This eventually became the Dwarves' kingdom and was sealed off in 1053 (9).
- Silver Cord
- connects one's soul to their body. Severing it allows the soul to leave the body, making one a Zombie -- death without dying. Allows an Elf to tap into a powerful inner essence upon touching it (16).
- Singolis Leaf
- useful for restoring blood and tissue loss (14).
- Sinkhe
- a small town at the base of Mount Palith (20).
- Six-Tell Amlah
- a demon who no mortal man can slay. Summoned by Moochau using Lusiphur's eye (1). Unharmable by man-made swords,guns, and explosives. Sorcerers would have to go to his actual location to harm him, as his presence on earth is merely a reflection of himself (2). Currently in hell being punished for failing to survive on Earth, since he was the first significant demon on Amrahly'nn in over 300 years. As punishment he was racked, chained, torn, and gutted (11). In the meantime, he's waiting to be released (18).
- Skall
- a town in the extreme Southeast where Lusiphur originally met Lester before working for Lord Garn. Somewhere between village and city size (7).
- Slawhump
- the sound of a war duke disappearing (14).
- Slum Raid
- raids on the slums of Port Sarnwog funded by the upper class and enacted by the middle class. The cause of Lusiphur's dad's death (1).
- Smithers
- a member of the Blood Guard (16).
- Sorceress' Dog
- some sort of magical watchdog apparently. Most people are too intelligent or polite to blow them up (12).
- Southeast
- another region that Lusiphur isn't wild about, due to the overwhelming humidity and heat (7).
- Sparrow
- a cute little birdie (15).
- Splt
- the sound of a dimension-jumping Assassin's hump hitting the ground (17).
- Sprites
- a twisted version of Elves which guard the air (8).
- Spook
- a Sanctuary Elf who sports shades (11).

- good for doing roundhouse kicks into someone's neck (12). Lusiphur likes to wear spurs.

- the sound of a dimension-jumping Assassin's hump getting severed from its body (17).
- the Steps
- a series of battle stations which were built by the Elves over the course of 100 years to rid Amrahly'nn of the Trolls. None have ever fallen. Their goals (respectively) were: 1) preservation of life on Amrahly'nn, 2) procuring magics, 3) serving as a battle station, 4) knowledge, 5) another battle station, 6) more magic, 7) a grand battle station (8). The second Step is Daluin-Ahnk (8). The fifth Step is Dre Carshea (18).
- Strider
- was wanted in Palasach (4). Gruff, short, and after the Stienburrough diamond (6). Now in a maximum security cell in the Dienchau Island Prison. Knows Lusiphur only as Toodulloo (18). Talon would prefer his name not be mentioned within Sanctuary (11).
- Stienburrough Diamond
- the largest diamond in Illishiet. Desired by the Nick, as well as Strider and Sapphire (5).
- the Shotgun Tavern
- the tavern in Lowe where Luse runs into a Doppelganger. Owned by Burl who is now rather prejudiced against Elves (18).
- Sylphs
- another race that was a twist off of Elves (8).
